Lecture notes (cite in-text only)
Notes that you take in a class contain “unrecoverable” data and can be cited as personal communications. As
such, Alverno librarians recommend that you do not include citations for lecture notes in an APA reference list.
They should be cited in-text only, using your name as the author.
For example: (A. B. Smith, PSY 235 lecture, November 16, 2019)
