AUSTIN, Texas - Four standouts on the diamond and in the classroom – University of Oklahoma’s Alyssa Brito, Metropolitan State University
of Denver’s Shelby Robb, Linfield University’s Kaili Saathoff and Oregon Tech’s Kaila Mick – highlight the 2024 Academic All-America®

Brito (Division I), Robb (Division II), Saathoff (Division III) and Mick (NAIA) have each been named the Academic All-America® Team Member of
the Year for their respective divisions.
Division I
Brito, a senior from Tustin, California, maintained a 3.72 GPA majoring in psychology, and helped lead Oklahoma to the program’s fourth
straight NCAA Division I National Championship in 2024 and its eighth overall. The versatile utility player, at third base or left field, was a
valuable member on the last three championship teams after transferring from Oregon in 2022. Starting in all 65 games this season, Brito, hit
.399 with 18 home runs and 61 RBI with an .803 slugging percentage, 64 runs scored, 16 doubles and four triples in starting in all 65 games
this season.
Brito is a two-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) first team All-American, a four-time NFCA All-Region pick, and four-time all-
conference selection. She played in 188 career games for the Sooners including 176 starts, finishing with a .395 batting average, 49 home
runs and 167 RBI.
Seven of the 33 members of the Academic All-America Division I softball teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or
graduate school. The 11 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.793.
In addition to Brito, five additional student-athletes are repeat selections on the Academic All-America® Division I softball team – Erin Coffel
(University of Kentucky), Addison Barnard (Wichita State), Kiki Milloy (University of Tennessee), Kelly Maxwell (University of Oklahoma),
and Allie Skaggs (University of Arizona). Milloy and Maxwell are three-time selections.
Division II
Robb is a senior sport management major from Arvada, Colorado, with a 4.0 GPA, and became the program’s first two-time NFCA and
Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) first team All-American in leading MSU Denver to a 43-18 record. The Roadrunners’
outfielder is a three-time D2CCA All South Central Region first team selection and made the NFCA’s All-Region first team in 2021 and 2024
(second team in 2023).

a NFCA 2021 National Freshman of the Year finalist, RMAC Freshman of the Year and won a RMAC Gold Glove.
Her career .425 batting average is the best in program history, and Robb set the program’s single-season batting average record of .535 as
a freshman. Her .457 batting average this past season is the third-best ever at MSU Denver, and her 91 base hits was a program single-
season record. She ranked in the top 10 nationally this season in hits and doubles (25).
In addition to Robb, 11 student-athletes are repeat selections on the Academic All-America® Division II softball team – Ally Distler (Colorado
Mesa University), Savanna Brooks (Wingate University), Logan Menzies and Kenzie Middleton (Colorado Christian University), Kenzee
