AP Exam Proctors Needed!
We need YOU fabulous Ponte Vedra parents to help us proctor exams.
Proctors will assist the Exam Administrators with setting up the exam
room, collecting and organizing exam materials, and monitoring students
as they take the exam and when they need assistance.
Please arrive early. We need and appreciate your help with exams. The
students have worked so hard and we want them to have the best exam
experience possible!

THE CHECKOUT PROCESSTHE CHECKOUT PROCESS
Hello Shark Families,
We just want to send a couple reminders pertaining to students checking out of school early:
Early Digital Release Forms should be sent in the morning. These forms can be found on our
webpage under "Attendance"
If you are picking up your child, please note that you must come into the front office to sign
them out and present your driver's license.
Please note that if a student will be driving themselves off campus, we will need to call a
parent for verbal verification. Additionally, if you will please remind your child that they
MUST come to the front office to check out and they MUST present their driver's license to
be permitted to leave the campus.
If you need somebody other than the parent/guardian to pick up your student, they must be
listed in the system. We are unable to release students to anybody other than what we have
on record.
Please email jennifer.mitchell@stjohns.k12.fl.us if you need to add to your emergency
contact list.
Thank you for your attention t o this matter. We understand that emergencies arise, but the process
in place is important to the success of the front office.
Absences in General - A note is required for all absences whether or not it will be excused.

SENIOR GRADUATION SURVEY IN NAVIANCE
ALL seniors must complete the short graduation survey in Naviance by
Debt Day, May 16. The survey gives us feedback so we can continue to
support our seniors as well as support the rising senior class with helpful
data.
In Naviance Go To > ABOUT ME in the top right > Surveys From Your
School > PVHS GRADUATION SURVEY
You may begin the survey, save and complete at a later date.
Seniors will also REQUEST FINALS TRANSCRIPTS through this survey,
once final decisions have been made.
*If you have chosen to attend a school you did not originally apply to, please
add the school in the Naviance survey and request Final Transcript there.
You can use the Quick List to search many Florida schools, 2 and 4 year.
**Florida State College in Jacksonville, Tallahassee Community College,
and Santa Fe College are 2 Year Colleges and are available to add in
Naviance.
SENIORS ATTENDING GRAD BASH must stay at school the entire day.
If you have a modified schedule, you will report to the Media Center after
your last class and check in with Ms. Lee. You will remain in the Media
Center until the end of the school day.

The St. Johns County School District has begun the review process for
the Social Studies Instructional Materials Adoption. Once available for
review, the digital resources will be posted on this web page and
available for review. The core resources that have been submitted for
evaluation were selected from the state adoption consideration lists when
available. Additional resources for advanced programs may be reviewed
from materials listed as appropriate for the program indicated.

FALL ’23 UNF DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSE INFORMATION- Deadline to apply
5/19/23.
The application window for DE courses through UNF is now open.
PVHS will be offering the following:
Fundamentals of Speech: SPC 2608 – James Price
Business Law: BUL 3130 DL - Lee Gaul
This Speech class is held on the Ponte Vedra campus before school two mornings
per week at zero hour and Business Law will be offered as a virtual course two days
a week, time to be determined.
Students should see their class Schoology page for application instructions and
requirements. Students will need to carefully follow the instructions to make sure
that their application is complete.
PVHS Application Deadline is Friday, May 19, 2023. Students will need to submit
transcript, signature page (see attached) and test scores for a complete
application.

The registration process is to be completed online only and all pages of the EL2
physical MUST be uploaded. Paper physicals will not be accepted.
New this year - you will be required to upload all of the safety certificates to Athletic
Clearance:
FHSAA Sudden Cardiac Arrest Video Certificate
NFHS Concussion Certificate
NFHS Heat Illness Certificate
NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
Please visit the Ponte Vedra Athletic Website for step-by-step registration
instructions and to download a copy of a blank EL2 physical form to take to your
medical provider.
The Registration Process MUST be completed and student-athlete must be cleared
prior to participating in conditioning or tryouts. Please keep in mind that it could
take up to 5 days for EL2 physical clearance in order to participate.

related to the team. You will have an opportunity to meet
the parent team manager and other returning members of
