1. Only alcoholic beverages containing more than one liter of alcohol may be
transported in checked baggage. Each alcoholic beverage must contain 24% but
less than 70% of alcohol not exceeding 5 liters per passenger.
2. The L.A.G items for your personal use are allowed in your carry-on luggage when
meeting these conditions:
a. Must be stored in a container of a capacity not exceeding 100mL. Any
container exceeding 100mL will not be accepted, even if the container is
partially filled.
b. Containers that contain L.A.G items must be stored in a transparent zip lock
bag with a capacity maximum of 1 liter. The zip lock bag must be safely
secured, one bag per passenger and the zip lock bag must be taken out your
carry-on luggage before passing inspection at checkpoint.

c. Baby formula, breastmilk, and/or baby lotion are only permitted to
passengers traveling with their infant. These items will be screened and
cannot exceed 100mL per container.
d. Medications are allowed without a prescription from a doctor, these items
will be screened at checkpoint.

NOTE:
1. The inspection machine for checked baggage will damage undeveloped films left
inside the camera.
2. To avoid damage to undeveloped films, it is recommended to take the film in your
carry-on baggage and request the inspecting officer to manually check the film.
3. Check with your airline or travel agency about restrictions on the use of these and
other items during your flight.
Electronic Cigarettes and Vaping Devices
1. These devices are allowed to travel in your carry-on baggage. Passengers traveling
with this device must present them at the counter at the time of checking in for
their flight in case of this item being conducted and controlled by the airline.
2. With the aim of preserving the safety, regularity and efficiency of flights, the
administration (Director and / or Manager of Airports), they must announce and
publish in posters safety information and on the screens available in the passenger
presentation area and in the points of inspection of transit and of origin (exit), of
the different terminals to the civil aviation service, the following information:
"Passengers who are about to board an aircraft, when they appear at
checkpoint they must present and remove from their carry-on luggage: electronic
gadgets for example: laptops, VCRs, cameras, cell phones, blow dryers and/or
personal data assistant (PDA); to be inspected by service personnel at
checkpoint.”
3. Aircraft operators operating in the Dominican Republic must notify their
passengers or passengers at the time of purchase of the air ticket, and in writing,
by posting the following information on the back of the air ticket:
"It is the responsibility of the passenger who is the beneficiary of this
ticket when they arrive at checkpoint or transit inspection, to remove from their
carry-on luggage any electronic devices such as laptops, VCRs, cameras, cell
phones, dry blowers and/or Personal Data Assistant (PDA); to be inspected by
service personnel at checkpoint.”

Notes:
1. The CESAC supervisor will verify that the inspection procedure for the
substances in powder form is applied to the selected passengers, randomly and
continuously. Also taking into account the level of threats and suspicious
profiles.
2. Substances in powder form, may travel in carry-on luggage provided that its
content is checked and does not exceed the amount of 12 ounces / 350 ml.,
applying the additional inspection measures (Multi-Mode Explosive Trace
Detection Equipment) (MMTD), or Explosives Detection Unit K-9.
3. The containers whose content is greater than 12 ounces / 350 ml. They must
travel by hold baggage
4. Operators of aircraft that provide services in Dominican territory must verbally
inform their passengers / users when acquiring the air ticket and in writing,
publishing on the back of the air ticket, information regarding substances in
powder form.
5. Salvage medical items, with proof or scientific value and crematoria containers,
will be exempt from inspection if they are accompanied by official and legal
documentation.
6. Flight crews and passengers described in the inspection procedure for special
cases in the DSAC documents will be exempt from this inspection.

7. Any substance resembling a powder in containers that show signs of alteration,
disproportionate weight or that its contents emit an irregular substance or
unusual smell, or are incompatible with the container or package, WILL NOT BE
TRANSPORTED ON THE AIRCRAFT.
8. Containers that contain substances in the form of dust must be transported in
Bags of Safety Approved for Improper Handling (STEB).
