Temporary
For cultural travel, business and religious mission, short-term professional activity,
medical treatment, family visit and other reasons considered by the authorities. The
temporary visa may be for single or multiple entries and must be used within a maximum
period of 180 days after it is granted. The single entry allows a stay of 180 days, and the
multiple entries allows the holder more than one entry and the total stay of 90 days for
one year from the date of issuance.
EXEMPTION
Foreigners with a valid residence permit;
Foreigners who benefit from visa exemption provided for by law or who benefit from
visa waiver international agreements in which Cabo Verde is a party;
Foreigners with travel permits as refugees;
Employee or foreign mission agent or international organization with an identity card
issued by the government department responsible for foreign affairs;
Cabo Verde nationals who have acquired foreign nationality and their respective
spouses and descendants, by showing passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate
or any other document stating the circumstance for being born, married or
son/daughter of a father or mother born in Cabo Verde.
REQUIREMENTS
Passport valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in Cabo Verde;
Visa application form;
One passport type picture;
Money order, cash or bank check in the amount of 114.00 USD for multiple entries;
Money order, cash or bank check in the amount of 60.00 USD for single entry;
Document that proves the nature of the trip for official, diplomatic or courtesy visas;
