The following information will help you prepare for your stay at our lakeside retreat
center and enjoy your visit to the fullest! If you have any questions before you arrive,
please call our main office at (530) 541-1244.
We suggest including the following as part of your packing list:
Warm clothes and layers. Evening temperatures can be relatively chilly.
(Check the South Lake Tahoe weather forecast before your departure).
Sturdy shoes for walking on dirt paths. Most access to guest lodging is unpaved.
Flashlight. We have path lighting throughout the property, but nights are very dark.
Refillable water bottle. Staying hydrated is key at our elevation.
Check-In is available beginning at 3pm on arrival day.
Check-Out is available until 10am on departure day.
Transportation
If you plan to arrive by car, check road conditions and driving directions in advance.
If arriving by air at Reno-Tahoe Airport, please visit: stanfordsierra.com/shuttle/
We provide transfer between SSCC and the South Tahoe Airporter in town.

Stanford Sierra Amenities
Accommodations include linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.
There are NO televisions or telephones in guest rooms.
A few hairdryers are available to check out from the office
Iron and ironing board are available in the public laundry room.
Public phones, computers, and printer are available in the main lodge
On site recreation opportunities include our boat dock (during scheduled hours only),
hiking trails (day-use permits available at office), tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts.
The Best Way to Keep in Touch with the Office and Home
Bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone with wireless capability. Our wireless network
is available throughout Camp including lodge rooms, meeting rooms and common areas
in the main lodge and in the cabins.
Cell service is spotty and inconsistent at Fallen Leaf Lake, so plan to be without cell
reception during your stay.

Pets, recreational vehicles (e.g. campers), and on-site camping are prohibited.
