Vessel operators are responsible for knowing all applicable State Boating Laws.
Copies of the Boating Laws are available at the Entrance Stations and the Visitor
Center.
Wild animals are protected in the Recreation Area. If there is a problem with an
animal, Please contact a Park Ranger.
A parent, guardian, or adult acting as their guardian must accompany persons
under the age of 18 when outside of their campsite between the hours of 11 p.m.
and 5 a.m.
Quiet time in the Recreation Area is between 10 p.m. & 7 a.m.
Trash receptacles and recycling containers are placed throughout the Recreation
Area. Campers are responsible for placing their litter and trash in the appropriate
receptacle. Items placed in the appropriate receptacles are to be accessed from
those receptacles by park staff only.
Fires are allowed ONLY in the Agency provided BBQ/fire rings, or in Agency
approved containers in the developed facilities. The fuel used may not may not
exceed the size of the container and fires must be extinguished when not
attended. Fires using wood for fuel are not allowed outside the developed
Recreation Area.
The campsite check out time is 11 a.m. Check in time is 4 p.m.
Camping and picnicking areas have tables provided for those utilizing the specific
site. Tables are not to be moved from one to another.
Bicycles and other operator propelled devices that are strapped to the operator
(such as skates) may be ridden within the Recreation Area with proper safety
equipment and with regard to laws of the road. Skateboards are not allowed in the
Recreation Area.
Weapons may not be discharged within the Recreation Area. Hunting in
accordance with State Law is permitted in dispersed areas of the Lake only.
Fireworks of any type are not allowed within the Recreation Area or Tuolumne
County.
Campsite occupancy is limited to a MAXIMUM of eight (8) people.

An appropriate use permit is required for all access to the Recreation Area.
All vehicles are to be kept on designated parking areas and roadways. All
operators of motorized vehicles are to be appropriately licensed and their vehicle
must be licensed for legal operation on public roadways.
All property, vegetation, and wildlife are protected within the Recreation Area.
