Metro Directions from the hotel to the HOUSE side (approx. 33-38 minutes)

1. Head EAST on Woodley Road NW

2. Turn RIGHT on Connecticut Ave NW

3. Arrive at WOODLEY PARK-ZOO

METRO STATION

4. Take the RED line toward

GLENMONT/SILVER SPRING.

5. Get off at METRO CENTER STATION.

6. Get on the BLUE/ORANGE line toward

LARGO TOWN CENTER/ NEW

CARROLLTON.

7. Get off at the CAPITOL SOUTH station

8. You will come out on 1

STREET SE.

Turn left onto 1

and follow it up the

hill.

Street will intersect INDEPENDENCE AVENUE SE. Turn left. The House Office Buildings are down

Independence to your left.

Total walking time from Capitol South Metro Station: Three to eight minutes, depending on the

Metro Directions from the hotel to the SENATE side (approx. 27-30 minutes)

1. Head EAST on Woodley Road NW (toward I Street)

2. Turn RIGHT on Connecticut Ave NW

3. Arrive at WOODLEY PARK-ZOO METRO STATION.

4. Take the RED line toward GLENMONT/SILVER

SPRING

5. Get off at UNION STATION

6. Cross the plaza in front of Union Station to arrive at

Columbus Circle NE

7. Turn left on Columbus Circle and Follow it to 1

Street NE. Follow 1

Street SOUTH toward the

Capitol.

Street will intersect C STREET NE. Dirksen and

Hart Senate Office Buildings will be to your left down

C Street and Russell will be to your right.

Total walking time from Union Station Metro Station:

Seven to ten minutes, depending on the building.

 Cab fare from the hotel to any of the House or Senate Buildings will be approximately $16-$20

and uberX fare approximately $12-$20. Either will take approx. 20-40 minutes for the House side and

20-35 minutes for the Senate side, pending traffic.

For public transportation with the least amount of walking, take the metro from METRO

CENTER on the red line toward GLENMONT and get off at UNION STATION. Right in front of Union

Station on Columbus Circle, get on a blue line Circulator bus (in the direction of Navy Yard via Capitol

Hill) to either the Senate or House buildings.
