If you need to cancel your tour reservation, you must advise us in writing (by letter signed by the

person who has made the reservation or e-mail). Please note that any cancellation request by

phone will not be accepted. We will then confirm your cancellation and notify you of any

cancellation fee(s) if any.

If you cancel your reservation, one of the following cancellation fees applies:

8. Credit cards are widely accepted to make your payments in Japan. However, it is

recommended to exchange and carry some amount of cash (Japanese Yen) to be expensed for

your own needs. Local small stores, shops (100 yen shops, etc.) and restaurants may not be able to

accept credit cards.

7. Your hotels will be determined and notified to you at least 1 month before the tour departure

date. Japanese hotel rooms are generally smaller than ones in the US. Your hotels will be

budget/economy-class/business-type (twin-bed room for double and single-bed room for single

occupancy with non-smoking). Triple-bed room may be available depending on hotels.

4. Daily tour schedule is subject to change anytime due to weather conditions or other unforeseen

circumstances.

5. Due to limited storage space on public transportation systems, it is recommended to carry 1

carry-on and/or 1 small bag/backpack per person.

including: forces of nature; terrorism; civil unrest; war; accidents; and transportation

including land vehicles, boats, and aircraft that are not operated or maintained to

standards found in the United States of America. I also assume risks associated with altitude,

illness, disease, physical exertion, and alcohol consumption, knowing that access to

evacuation and/or suitable medical supplies and support may not be available. By signing

this document, I agree to take full responsibility for my own actions, safety and welfare,

except for unanticipated events including injury, illness, emotional trauma, or death. I also

understand that I will be a member of the tour group and will conduct myself in a way that

will not endanger the group or myself. I understand that if I fraudulently represent myself as

fit for this tour, I may be removed prior to or during the tour at my own expense.

LIABILITY WAIVER

I hereby release and discharge Aikane InterPacific Corporation, dba Maika'i Ohana Tours (&

Japan Tour Sales) and its agents and employees from and against any and all liability arising

from my participation in this “Japan "SAKURA" Tour in Spring 2019 #1 (April 5, 2019 to April 14,

2019).” I agree that this release will be legally binding upon myself, my heirs, successors,

assigns and legal representatives; it being my intention to fully assume all risk of travel and to

release Aikane InterPacific Corporation, dba: Maika'i Ohana Tours (& Japan Tour Sales) from

any and all liabilities to the maximum permitted by law.

TOUR PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

It is very important for both you and your fellow travelers that you are fit enough to be able to fully

enjoy our Japan tour. All tour participants must be in good health with good mobility, have at least

average/normal upper-body strength and be able to comfortably hold both hands overhead.

Additionally, you must be able to (check

If you are 80 years old or older, or have restricted mobility, it is likely that you will find our tour

challenging. You may have to miss certain daily tour(s) and may not get the full value of the tour.

Before registering for the tour, please contact us to discuss your situation and the exact physical

requirements of the tour. While we will do our best to reasonably accommodate the physical needs

of all group members, we reserve the right to refuse tour registrations if we feel that the requirements

of the tour are too demanding for you and/or if we can not reasonably accommodate your

condition.

If you are pregnant, have recent, recurring or existing injuries, have a serious musculoskeletal disorder,

epilepsy or a seizure disorder that does not permit you to drive, have hemophilia or are currently

taking high doses of a blood thinning medication or anticoagulant, have a known health condition

that requires immediate medical attention in the event of an emergency, or if you are under the

influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or prescription medications that may limit your abilities, you can

not participate in the tour at this time.
