A verb is a doing /action word… an occurrence. I am running = I ran

With your adult, talk through these sentences together. The verb (the action / doing word) under
each picture is what you need to change, then put into the gap int the sentence. The verbs are all
currently in the present tense showing that something is happening now. See if you can work out
how to change the verb into a past tense verb to show that it happened in the past (already
happened.)
