Exam Hints
The CSSGB applicant should take into the exam:
C Numerous #2 pencils
C A calculator (with basic scientific functions)
C The CSSGB Primer (without test questions)
C Other selected quality references
C Scratch paper
Arrive early, get a good seat, organize your materials.
Answer all multiple choice questions. There’s no
penalty for wrong answers.
Use good time management. If there are 100
questions on the exam and 4 hours is allotted for the
exam, one must average 2.4 minutes per question.

CSSGB Exam
The CSSGB
The Six Sigma Green Belt is a paraprofessional, who
in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma
Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and
is involved in quality improvement projects.
Eligibility
CSSGB participants must register with ASQ
headquarters. Eligibility requires three years work
experience within the Six Sigma Body of Knowledge.
Duration
The test lasts 4 hours and begins at an advised time
(typically 8 or 9 A.M.). The exam is open book and
consists of multiple choice questions. Exams are
given twice a year.
